there are good and bad people born and raised in all countries including Australia, and even the view on good and bad varies between individuals, so it is really only our laws that can define good and bad, or legal and illegal in a simpler sense. Just because you were raised in Egypt or Somalia for example doesn’t mean you think it is right to perform genital mutalation on children. I immigrated to Australia when I was 3 so I cannot comment on what the system is at the moment, but you need to understand refugees and immigrants are treated completely different in moving to Australia and immigrant need to meet strict financial and or skill criteria I believe.
