The White Australia Policy was a great policy of social aimed at maintaining and preserving social and cultural cohesion as well as the economic viability and dignity of the working classes ( reference: the 1908 Harvester Judgment ).
It is a policy from which we continue to derive benefit our social and cultural cohesion being to this day -even after so much damage - superior to the social and cultural landscape of our peer nations Britain and the United States which on their own trajectories pursued different policies.
One final fact which is beyond question by any except fools is that the White Australia Policy was a policy of immigration focussed on sustaining cohesion and cultural unity and national purpose and happiness and was far far far superior to the travesty and the ruination which regrettably succeeded it.
