one has to give up something... you shouldn’t be migrating to Australia unless you want to embrace the culture - period. If you are coming as a refugee you should be greatful for the opportunity and be prepared to assimilate. Assimilation amongst other things doesn’t mean giving up your culture or heritage but embracing the laws and language of the country you move to. How about we move the Mexican drug cartels into your neighbourhood and let them keep their culture. I have Mexican and Brazilian mates who moved here to get away from their culture
