As I understand from the info I have found the Blina field was drilled in an Anticline and Backreef was drilled into a Syncline.

It seemed to me from Neils statements in the most recent presso that they are excited with what has been achieved and
his mention of oil pools is typical of syncline drilling according to what I've read.

While oil explorers generally look in Anticlines, there have been prolific oil production from Synclines in the US.

I find the production testing and the move to drill a second well very encouraging. This tells me the company believes they have a real goer in Backreef.

One things for sure........production testing is the nitty gritty ........you can get all excited about mud-logs but until you have wire line logs and the well is production tested it all counts for nothing.

I like this company and I believe we have very capable management.

One things for sure.......there will come a time when the share price of this company will do a moon shot whether Backreef.....the Derby block or the Gippsland project is the catalyst.

I'm one of the happy long term holders albeit that my entry here is somewhat recent.

To those who want to grizzle about the company and it's share price I say.........show me another micro-cap oil and gas explorer that is better value.
