In military history a group of volunteers thrown at a desperate situation against overwhelming odds where known as the "Forlorn Hope".

This is where the Yes Campaign finds itself. It has all but lost already. It is now throwing desperate volunteers at a hopeless situation, and they are getting nasty.

Cathy Freeman and Johnny Farnham have trashed their reputation in support of Apartheid against the will of the majority of their fellow Australians. Desperate and Hopeless acts.

Yes activists are turning nasty, spitting and shouting. They have lost and can't stand it.
