Here in Australia, we have this thing called "preferential voting" in the lower house.
The upshot of this concept is that Labor could expect to harvest around 80%-90% of primary greens votes from this 16-18 y.o. cohort. That would help Labor, and hurt the Liberals, in every seat except a couple where the Greens rival Labor's primary vote.
Not that I'm advocating dropping the voting age, but please do us a favour and sort your logic out.
