probably a good idea to have gold or diamonds as well which is why the South African farmers stash gold coins before exiting South Africa
I would say in Australia if things continue to deteriorate it will be a more a Cyprus scenario where the banks take 47% of your holding and you are guaranteed not to loose the rest , land holders will probably be ok they are already heavily indebted so not much use putting them to the wall and starting an even bigger crisis
