The new regulation is very simple.
1.Every formula company or formula manufacture can submit up three brands with 9 formulas(This part is the most important)
2.These company must must have with produces the research and development ability.
3.These comanies should provide proof of product formulation science and sufficient evidence, security research, development and demonstration report.

A2milk is the biggest customer for Synlait milk and Synlait milk controled by China's third largest dairy company Gunangming Dairy(That's means synlait milk maybe have good relation with China).This is a big advantage compare with other manufacture in Australia and Newzealand.
But this new regulation is big problem for Bellamy.
Bellamy is a organic brand.

Tatura is the only manfacture which got organic certificate under the Certification and Accreditation Administration of China(CAAC) in Australia and Newzealand.That's means only Tatura can help Bellamy.
Although Bellamy signed another producing agreement with Fonterra in December 2015.In my opinionit is impossible that Bellamy can registered with two different production factories under the new regulation

Same thing also happened to US election.
A2's relationship with China dairy company will help them to get the regulation approval. but that's not the reason why A2 can have excellent sale growth (and not the reason why Bellamy failed). Now some Chinese moms know the fact that A2 is the most expensive IF in Australia. Daigou also promote A2 as the best IF. More and more people will be aware of A2.
IMO, A2 just started its journal in China, and the growth will last for a few years, until Chinese local IF company significantly improved, or A2 made a big mistake themselves.
