The Comm Government is responsible for enacting laws that make Aus a better country . Sexual harassment at work is a big issue and the recent report to Parliament indicates that this is rife within the walls of Parliament.
If our Australian of the Year advocates changes to the law in order to minimise the damage doe to young women, then that, IMO is not only newsworthy but should see changes to our laws to minimise that damage.
Last week the report to Parliament indicated that over 30% reported some type of workplace harassment and of course rape & sexual harassment is at the top of that tree.
