When political powers can make an alleged offender a special person of interest to investigate with special fever as in the Pell case then its fair to say political powers can also play a role in certain allegations being put to the back of the file after being quietly dealt with.
Sadly we all are left searching for a place of centre and fair application of justice where the law applies equally to all.
Its not found at our gov funded ABC and IMO its not found anywhere political interests lie.
I hold Shorten and Porter allegations in the same light but have seen a very different media treatment of the two.
Things are not quite right in Aus media ATM IMO, there is too much spite and agenda for there to be any clarity.
