Exeter Friendly Society connects to THELMA-UK
UK-based Private Medical Insurance organisation Exeter Friendly Society, and MackenzieHealth Limited (MHL), THELMA's UK Agent, have signed a User Agreement for THELMA-UK to deliver electronic claims from medical consultants.
Through modern business management processes and highly technical back office support systems, Exeter Friendly Society delivers an affordable range of health insurance products to meet the needs of customers throughout the UK and in over 100 countries across the world.
Formed in 1927, Exeter Friendly Society's membership had grown to more than 100,000 people by the end of the Second World War. Following the formation of the National Health Service (NHS) in 1948, membership fell, so a strategic decision was taken to become a full Private Medical Insurance organisation. As well as an office in Exeter, Exeter Friendly Society recently expanded operations into Spain providing dedicated insurance services for expatriates in Spain and Portugal.
