Pad...I'll think you'll find that the company was suffering management issues well before the GFC struck. They were just well overshadowed.
Since then, they have removed a number of critical speedhumps/distractions from their management team (as well as losing a couple of good ones in the process).
Personally, I think they are heading in roughly the right direction, just taking a meandering and leisurely path to get there.
