1. lithium stocks will follow tech stocks down because lithium is complimentary resource that is consumed by the tech industry. Technology is largely discretionary spending which is first to fall in a recession.
2. The mine is not in production yet and still has to prove itself. The market is not sure how to value AGY so the sentiment seems to follow the general market movement.
3. The market feels in the dark about the progress of the mine and if they will meet their time line.
4. investors are finding hard to predict how a recessionary environment will effect the lithium market.
