Unfortunately we don't live in a perfect world where all things are known all the time. Using reasoning we'll have to do some thought experiments to orient our thoughts so it's conducive to supposing the success or failure of any approach.
1. Is Lipfuscin harmless?
2. Does it accumulate in aging and in particular the brain?
3. If it does accumulate and is harmful will any attempt at meddling with metals in homeostasis restore function to the brain?
Unfortunately we don't live in a perfect world where all things...
