Surely that has always been the case.
Despite all the venom directed my way I robustly challenge ideas without denigrating the person; we've had many such exchanges on this forum.
That aside, the main reason I've posted on this forum is to provide perspectives challenging the hatred, bigotry, racism and prejudice so often directed at posters and politicians on the other side of politics from Tony Abbott.
Throughout the last 4 years Abbott established the rules and standards for the national political debate; as PM he now has expect that they also apply to him.
As for the Murdoch Media and its group-thinking shock jock journalists - they have earned the title of our gutter press and greatest threat to our fragile democracy.
