    Indeed, the Howard Govt. is the first in history to deliver welfare to the wealthy; from subsidised health to superannuation, reduced marginal tax rates, reduced company tax rates, baby bonuses, etc.

    Tony Abbott's great big welfare for the wealthy rolled gold PPL will be icing on Howard's welfare cake.

    Howard paid for its by slugging mainstream Australians with his great big GST that Tony Abbott is almost certainly going to put up - if not in this term then next time round.

    As for how Abbott will pay for his version of welfare fore the wealthy; now that would be by removing the schools kids bonus that supports parents sending kids to school and by slugging mainly self-funded retirees receiving franking dividends.

    Now there's the new breed of socialist!
