    Dear all,

At the end of trading today one of my favourite companies will be consumed by CVC, and will cease trading as DVC.

Where I was a tad sad about the loss of my beloved DCA Group investment, I've decided that I may as well take a bit more advantage of the deal and load up at 3.46...which is exactly the takeover offer price.

    Why?

If you are still able to buy at $3.46 or below, you stand to profit just a little because of the following reasons:

The take over price is $3.46 and is made up by:

Shareholders registered on the Record Date (ìScheme Shareholdersî) will receive
$3.46 cash per DCA share with:
*$3.31 per share cash from CAID ñ the Scheme Consideration; and
*$0.15 per share fully franked Special Dividend from DCA.

The Scheme Consideration and Special Dividend will be sent to Scheme Shareholders
on 21 December 2006 (the implementation date of the Scheme).

So as trading on DVC will close this afternoon, your money will be tied up for only 9 days but you will be able to:
*Write off a loss on the share purchase (ie $3.46-$3.31)
*Obtain the 15 cent fully franked dividend with all those great tax credits!

    $3.46 was still a bargin!

I grabbed another 7000 and still only paid $29.95 in brokerage.

Anyway, that's what I've done for a short term guaranteed play to help me get over my loss of a great company.

Kind regards to all my fellow DVC holders,
    Snake13.

    DVC...RIP
