(btw, i do hold, and would love PKT to have found a commercial resource)
...but the last couple of anns have definitely had an element of "sorry guys, we haven't got anything yet, but we're still digging" to them...
I'm also no geologist but my quick internet search leads me to believe that uranium in disequilibrium might actually mean in "uranium series disequilibrium" which i would imagine means that it is present in a variety of different isotopes of uranium (ie, its not found as homogeneous U238 which i doubt exists in nature anyway, but rather as a range of isotopes from U232-238 etc).
Does anyone know the implications of Uranium Series Disequilibrium on a resource?
My initial thought is that it would then require more preparation/processing to convert to a single isotope?
Or perhaps regular yellowcake (U3O8) is itself in disequilibrium due to the natural decay process of radioactive elements?
Would love more clarity on this if anyone is able to shed any light?
