The point that is easily missed is that industrial minerals are very tricky, and kaolins are one of the trickiest of the lot. Cape York kaolins can be world class: Skardon, Weipa, Kendall River----, but you have know where to look and how to process them. They are totally different from the generic world clays. If the quick-buck bean- counters would only cut some slack to the chemists and engineers who know what they are doing then we might all be singing a different tune. It's not too late!!
