We are already paying circa 65 cents in the dollar in direct and indirect tax's, koro (of which circa 50% is wasted by poor governance). Why would you want to increase tax beyond the already generous taxpayer input? And why would you wish to kill the lone golden goose of none taxable income and the personal security that comes with it? No, koro, there are plenty of other, fairer levers the government can pull to equalize the sector for a period of time. And often as not, free market mechanics do the equalizing for us.
