There is nothing revolutionary about NUH's approach to Auditory Processing Disorder

NUH has tried to package up personal sound amplification as some great new thing and it is just false.

There are already copious amounts of studies that have researched sound amplification for auditory processing disorder and there are already hearing aids with directional microphones etc for children with auditory processing disorder. See links below.

So of course NUH study results into Auditory Processing Disorder will be okay because we already know personal sound amplification assists with one part of auditory processing disorder - this is not even new.

NUH will do a study indicating what we already know about the semi positive effect of personal sound amplification and auditory processing disorder and they will try to sell it like it is a new thing?

Whilst offering some benefit personal sound amplification is not even a great solution for Auditory Processing Disorder because it fails to fix the auditory processing problem as the brain must be re-trained to process sound correctly and quickly to do this.

So, finally the truth is out.

It is not about slow sales growth, or tangible receipts, or cash burn.

It is about a competitor stepping on to somebody else's patch.
