Hostilities have ceased with Andrew Purcell’s M&A Advisory withdrawing its Section 203D notice at Metgasco.
As part of the peace deal Purcell as accepted an invitation to join the board to represent his 19.2% shareholding.
Purcell is an experienced banker and public company director. He worked for the Credit Suisse Group for 12 years in their financial structuring division and then in Hong Kong managing the bank’s distressed investments and new business development in Greater China.
He is a director of AJ Lucas and chairman of MEO Australia.
Consistent with the appointment of John Patton last week, Purcell has provided the company with an agreement that he will maintain at least a 10% stake in the company.
