This is a commercial approach by BHP,if you know anything about carbon credits and debits you can see them having a bob both ways here,the whole carbon argument is about to sink out of sight because the price per tonne on the international market is now meaningless,watch the polies drop this one when they realize that vast amounts of taxes are NOT going to be collected,one of the nett effects of the vast amounts of money spent and wasted is that huge numbers of trees which were scheduled for planting are not going to happen now because of political interference.

The ironic situation now is that large increases in the costs of essential services are locked in and the result will be not one gramme of Co2 removed .
