so then one does not have to be a JW, I think this throws a spanner in the works of the WT nothing that one has to be a JW

What Peter said in Acts10 showed that Cornelius and other gentiles did not need to be circumcised to have Jehovah's approval. They did, however, need to become ''a people for his name''.
Symeon has related thoroughly how God for the first time turned his attention to the nations to take out of them a people for his name. (Acts15:14)
