I agree - Jon has been very helpful over the many years I've held. I've often annoyed him and left RT alone to work his magic.
Here's another left field theory to throw in the mix... I wouldn't be surprised if we see a cheeky placement to Mr Walker as part of the announcement if the results are good. He's been a long time supporter (even up in the mid/high teens), so a placement for a few $m around 7.9c (my guess at the 10 day vwap prior to the halt) wouldn't surprise me - with the funds to be used for general working capital during negotiations.
I wouldn't be too fussed if they did to be honest...
