True. The insurance industry was the first to take climate change seriously. That was decades ago.
Still we have people claiming the science is 'unproven'. When they personally are finally convinced as near unanimously scientists clearly are.... (excluding such an extremely small cohort who can be safely disregarded).... we will be up to our necks in it.
The point is the risk of being wrong is so colossal that you'd insure against being wrong. That's what sensible risk management is.
Instead we have vested interests gambling with our future. And boorish bulling claims.
A classic is the response 'bollocks' with nothing else added.
What can you do with that. Reason with it?
