there'll be a hellava demand for herbcide soon

First the cotton region surrounding Bourke got a drenching and more recently a huge area throughout S.QLD received enormous downpour. What saved towns in N.W. NSW being flooded was the gigntic amount of water sucked from the rivers into water storage throughout S.QLD and parts of NSW. Cubbie station alone has gathered about 2 Sydney harbours full. I imagine Collie farms haven't done as well but certainly would be pumping.
In 2 weeks we have gone from looking at virtually zero irrigated wheat this winter to a massive planting in the affected regions. Good sub-soil moisture will see many dryland cereal growers also take a punt come mid-May. in addition enough water has been collected to ensure a massive cotton crop next summer in the Emerald, St George, Goodiwindi, Brewarranna and Bourke areas.
These black soils will be green with weeds within a week or two and i have little doubt herbicide is being ordered by growers in large quantities. NUF will be first off the mark to supply although Chinese imports will eventually take some of the demand.
Rathbone blew the chinese TO and cocked-up the interim estimates yet again. I took profits from NUF about 2 months go but bought back yesterday at 8.39 as feel the deluge has lifted NUF's prospects enormously. My main concern is strong AUD.
