All through May the turnover on GRY has been extremely steady at 7-900k per day, with the price slowly climbing from 24c late April to 34c end May. Someone has been buying up GRY and very few selling. Anything on offer at or slightly above and below SP has been snapped up. And yet in all this time there have been no announcements about the resource itself, only about the completion of the placement, the intention of another (set at only $2m) and the conditional interest in a $2m investment from IFC. It would seem somebody knows something and is acquiring GRY without stirring the pot. At the same time there have been only three posts on this one since 20 May.

Atari, has a point that the resource upgrade from the new drilling results should be available anytime now and that this should get GRY into the 1+Million oz gold at <100 meters depth. Perhaps that will stir the punters, but perhaps the forthcoming “news” is already known by some. I’m just trying to understand why GRY has moved so steadily with such low volume. GRY certainly is cashed up and appears to be looking forward to an exciting couple of months, especially for the silent buyer who had been acquiring what is around without forcing a rise in the SP by too much on a day to day basis. This one seems to have a fair way to go and warrants close watching.
