The fact that they even had to enact a ban means they don't have a whole lot of surplus inventory / capacity to export / flood the seaborne market.
This to me means the demand / supply imbalance will last another 12 months at least. That gives producers like BRL enough cash to 1) fix their balance sheets 2) pay big dividends 3) think about other forms capital management 4) acquire assets.
As a shareholder I would much prefer 1,2,3 over 4.
