Hi all, stumbled across this recent thread when doing some research into this. As far as efficiencies go, they have published this:
'1414 Degrees Ltd -previously Latent Heat Pty Ltd – has successfully commissioned the prototype of its patented largescale thermal energy storage system (TESS), which has all of these advantages. The prototype is storing and regenerating electricity with a combined heat and power efficiency in excess of 80%.The Stirling Engine used in the tests has been delivering its design electrical efficiency of over 30%. The Company is developing larger modules with electrical efficiencies over 50% to be installed as 10MWh stand-alone or multiple interconnected units supplying heat and power to farms, commercial or residential complexes...'
Not sure of the date of that info, but are right about needing to provide more prior to the IPO.
