In fairness, some of the noise is justified, they were bigging it up too much and the ASX letters were a complete disaster for the share price, even though I thought BUD's responses were mature and fair at the time, and they were somewhat dragged into the situation by the likes of BIG / GSW. But then the reality turned against us all, with Digicel management changes and a slow down in revenue growth in the back end of 2018.

When you look back, Buddy started conversations which led to an announcement about LIFX "Works With Ohm" in Sept 2018. Probably we did not understand the significance of that back then. Now, we know that this was the start of a courtship which should transform the company.

They have learnt a big lesson. Not all contracts and agreements turn out the way you expect (especially Digicel) and for sure we do not have the full story on Ingram Micro in USA. Which is why they have gone so quiet. DM needs to stop writing flowery effusive directors' reports and updates and simply accept the fact that the only way the market can value the business correctly is by disclosing the sales volumes. I would say that this has not been something they ever wanted to do until now (especially if they believe they have first mover advantage) but I would like to think they have learnt that it is critical going forwards and perhaps they are simple waiting to deliver credible numbers after a crap quarter at the end of 2018.

But I firmly believe there is a valid proposition with the Ohm product for property & building management (commercial and residential) and it only gets better with LIFX. In fact, LIFX is an awesome business in its own right. I first came across them on a crowd funding website where they offered initial investors discounted products for equity subscription.

Give it time, give it patience, have some faith that the combined management of Buddy and LIFX know where they are at and what they need to deliver.

my theory is that posters can keep bagging the company as much as they like down here. Holders, who are still left, have given these guys enough opportunities and been let down every time. even if they are trying to turn things around now they have further to go earn my trust back at least anyway. they need decent win or a string of them to achieve that, not a minor victory here or there. good luck to you and I both as well as the rest of us.
