If he had problems once a week I suggest the "early intervention" was about 50 weeks earlier, when he'd had problems three weeks running as opposed to a $1500 a month service that told him once a week he had problems. Get a fridge mechanic in to fix the problem. Fridges are designed to work, not breakdown on a weekly basis.
Regardless whether your anecdote is accurate or otherwise, the simple fact is Ohm is not currently gaining traction. If it was as valuable and necessary as some here like to make out it to be it would.
