What you say here makes perfect sense-
Albert Einstein is widely credited with saying, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.”
Doubling down on a dog of a stock and hoping for a different result - maybe it will but nothing more than short term trade (on an oversold position).
