@goldnerd Handy info. Still unsure what the downside protection actually is, but hopefully it means what it says, because they have definitely given away some of the upside.
If management are inclined to close the discount to nta and offer some liquidity - say via a share buyback or capital return, then this is not a horrible outcome. Once we accept that we haven’t kept pace with the market - we aren’t losing money.
The vested interests in management need corporate activity to provide liquidity for any exit of their own, so hopefully our interests are aligned there.
