Hey all
Just a quick chuckle....on the ASA website there is a response to the ESGSAG letter from Flagstaff (consulting to ESG) which attaches the chair-taker's last letter to shareholders and in part says:
"Flagstaff points shareholders to the attached letter which addresses shareholder's concerns regarding the TRU Energy transaction and other points raised in the ESGSAG letter"
When you look at the letter it is quite clear that it does NOT address those concerns at all and in respect of the TRU transaction only refers to the SOA booklet which gives no detailed reasons on that proposed transaction. The reserve issue and the money spend on drilling, approvals, etc is addressed nowhere.
My votes are now locked in regardless of what happens and to be honest I won't be attending the meeting as it is too personally inconvenient and my attendance will not change anything. What will be will be from now.
My prediction.....if a YES wins there will be much more to this story and if a NO wins there will be much more to this story :)
These guys have not handled this well and it will come back to bite ...hard.
This is the point where the commander forms the troops together and gives the speech that a good fight was fought and it is each person's duty now to get back to their families in the best way they can. In that process it will be a bonus to inflict pain on the opposition.
Don't know what will happen but will see the ride out with a SIGNIFICANT number of shares but NOT ALL of them :)
There are possibilities that may pop up in the next few days.....be flexible and adaptable!!!!!!!!!!
all the best in investing and in making it back safely :)
Ride not over but thanks for making even the scary parts fun and not as scary as they would have been alone !!
regards
