    I looked for a good article explaining it (for my own benefit too) but couldn't find it.
    Essentially, some funds play a (high) flat fee for accessing the ASX for essentially unlimited trades, where, we, plebs access the ASX through a brokerage firm, which usually charges a minimum fee for every single transaction. i.e. if we bought 4 shares worth ~$1, we would still have to pay are brokerage fee (e.g. $5-$20), making such small trades uneconomical.
