company's spend large amounts managing waste, those that don't are made to pay quite hefty fines if contravening guidelines. Cases in past, where towns, communities & families have suffered from inadequate waste management by an individual or company, have sent many companies under, the only time no compensation won't be paid to those who suffer is, where no assets can be traced, or no insurance is in force. Maybe another analogy would be more fitting.
