I spent 25 years in the oil patch, 15 with a consulting company. Both Conoco and Phillips were among our clients. Conoco was a delight to work for, fun, open and professional. Phillips was secretive and paranoid, almost CIA material. If the ex Phillips people run the Australian operations, IMO that is the most likely reason for the state of the ANNs. Nothing KAR can do about it because with COP being the operator, COP are in essence THE BOSS, period. That's what happens when you cede operatorship. So, there's no need whinging at KAR, they have no option, period.
This is my third go with KAR, first two very profitable. I bought back in at ground zero in Jan. Now my stop loss is coming near, but I'll still have another good profit if worse comes to worst.
