In fact, it might interest you to know, one of my best erudites is a swede, we used to be co-professors at Yale many years ago and we remain friends to this day. He loves my home made pasta and my home made vino ( Perhaps it's more info than you had bargained for, apologies). However, let me be crystal clear, the LEFT I was referring to are more a la Venezuela, Cuba, and other failed socialist countries, I'm afraid Greenland might fall victim to that same ideology and that perilous way of governing, but I hope not. Nevertheless, to genuinely debate the issue you raised about the LEFT, it would take a long time and many pages to express my views, time we do not have! Relative to your comment regarding "Right Leaning" countries are all about social oppression? I'd rather not debate this now or ever, as like you, I'd prefer to defer it to another time.

You referred to yourself as a "socialist Democrat" not sure whether you are a Swede or an Ausie, irrespective what country you or I are from, it doesn't matter, as we are all earthlings!
