For the thinnest possible pizza base, try a single sheet of mountain bread … it’s probably <1mm thick.
Toast it for about 5 mins max on a hot oven rack … transfer to a flat tray lined with baking paper … apply your pizza sauce carefully with the back of a desert spoon (the sheet is very brittle at this stage) … add your fav toppings (we do a mix of say 6 veges (if using tomato you have to semi-dry slices on an oven tray before hand to remove a lot of water that would otherwise make the base soggy) … add mozzarella and shaved Parmesan … the the secret ingredient a light application of anchovies.
Lift the cooked pizza by the baking paper and slide onto a large dinner plate … eat with a knife and fork.
