I've raised issue before but no one responded. The US$ POG is irrelevant. While POG in US$ terms spiked by as much as US$21, it only climed by AUS$13 at peak - due to the excahnge rate.
SAR carry op cost in AUS$, not US$ - as such, the jump isn't that significant. Nevertheless, the increase should generate an increase in SP comes monday. 50c or higher would be nice but we'll have to wait and see.
Point I'm trying to make is that change in POG in reference to the US$ change doesn't mean anything (in SAR's case)but would have a real different meaning to Gold companies who produce gold abroad.
