Hi Alonso, have you ever told Mish why he wrongly thought that the "BLS overstated job expansion in 2023?"
For those that don't know, around March 2024 Alonso directed our attention to the fact that according to opinion expressed by Mish, the BLS had overstated the Job Expansion in 2023 by 800.000.
However, it seems that the reason for that was the fact that one of the two series of statistical data used by Mish was a subset of the another. For example, people working for the military or a politician were excluded from one of the series but not from the other.
The problem here, seems to be that for some people only bad things can be coming from the slightest form of government activity or intervention, a point of view that ends by tainting their analysis.
