IKHUTCH, imho the selling represents a strong vote of no-confidence in Board & Knox at the moment. DOW allegedly still on track for a strong profit result. Personally I cant see how breaking the company up and selling across the Divisions can be a strategy as someone has suggested because that smacks of cash in your chips etc. It was reported LEI was in discussions re the Mining Div but they went away and bought heavily into MAH, though falling short of a full T/O. I only hope if FMG does award and conclude negotiations with DOW it isnt a catalyst to offload Mining as that Division surely acts as a feeder to Engineering and Works at times and that would only further detract from Group controlled profit and fatten LEI further. Best form of defence now is combination of tander success, offence through an acquisition plus sharpen the sword for some senior management to fall on...... This company isnt going away as some of the parts is worth more than the market is currently valuing.
