Thanks folks, but I am not depressed, just realistic.
Years ago I started accumulating and trading and managed to make most stocks I hold free carried.
As I didn't sell any the paper losses from the highs are tremendous, but thank god for me its not a real loss. I am holding a few dogs which are not freebies and they will probably go to the wall. A calculated risk.I have rigidly stuck to my rule of 33% cash in safe Bank term deposits, 33% property and an 33% shares under the the strict supervision of she who must be obeyed.

My only hope is that I live long enough to see the market bounce back. And Elroy, compared to me you are a spring chicken. :)
