Was listening to Ged Kearney; the female leader of the ACTU go on and on about the so called discrimination against women in the work force and how they the ACTU are going to insist that the ALP put forward to legislation on enforcing that Females are paid and get massive maternity leave when they leave to have their children.

I agree Women need to be looked after; but seriously do these union people ever think about the employer:

What would happen if you had 10 female employees and they all got pregnant at the same time; all you would be doing is paying maternity leave with NO income; a little far fetched but do these people ever think about to pay wages, sick pay, public holiday, leave loading and annual leave ;let alone maternity leave: you have to make a profit on their outlay. With all this stuff the employer is a long way behind the 8 ball. These union people need wake up, their wages just don't fall out of the sky unless you work for a union or government department.
