I've been trying to work out if doubters are sceptical of the whole area of stem cell science or if they think MSB's lines are ineffective. I think it's the former. Just to refer to that recent study in the JACC comparing auto- with allo- MSCs in NIDCM, which the authors say, accounts for half of all transplants. True, it was a small study but the authors said: "Clinical benefits of the magnitude shown here support the development of allo-hMSCs for treating NIDCM." They say a picture paints thousand words. I keep looking at that image of the heart they provided and thinking 'wow'.
