Just a quick calculation shows that since administration the mine would have produced about 1100 tonnes nickel and this should have been produced at their average production cost of last year of $5.8 per pound or less now that the shareholders paid for new stuff and less people. So Mirabela in administration would produce their first positive cashflow of about $3million in a few days. Whoa! What a coincidence!
Furthermore they had about 4900 tonnes of nickel in concentrate then - a whopping $70 million dollars if they get 90% LME today before refining.
Doesn't this sound great - Wait, Wait, Wait........ - Only if you are a sophisticated "gang of noteholders" with the best "lawyers" in the world.
