things on the up for tti

Thanks for posting about the broker's recommendation Tweeting. I would have had no idea that it was even in existence without you pointing it out, moderated post and all.

I read the report and have to say it was very bullish in the outlook for TTI. Most of the information in the report was nothing we didn't already know, but there were one or two interesting bits of information I have not been able to find elsewhere.

The outlook for the company appears to be so much brighter, no pun intended, now that they have thrown their hat in the road lighting ring and through the acquisition of QTC.

I originally bought in for the promise of pedestrian countdown timers, traffic signals and emergency telephones in the UK market which dwarfs the Australian market. As TTI have stated previously there are 6000 intersections in London alone whilst Australia has 12000 in total. The market share in Australia is very high at 85%~, but it's very small in the UK, at around 3% indicating the potential for strong growth in the UK for TTI.

In terms of road lighting TTI's products are more expensive than what's already in the market, but they're far more efficient with much lower running costs and carbon emissions. If the trials being run in SA, VIC and NSW prove to be successful then this side of the business could really take off.

Finally, QTC is an interesting one. I noticed on their website that they have installed their traffic controllers in NSW, Ireland, Qatar, Singapore, Malaysia, NZ and China. The company presentation I read regarding QTC and the fact their products have already been sold in so many markets, both domestic and international gives confidence that QTC along with the road lighting and pedestrian countdown timers could provide three very solid revenue earners for TTI going forward over and above the traditional lower revenue and margin businesses TTI previously ran with.

Things have never looked brighter for TTI in my opinion.
