Ds, the Cancer UK grant programme sounds a great opportunity, but I’m not so sure about PYC’s eligibility.
It’s stressed that the grants won’t be given to single investigators – they want teams that involve multiple disciplines, multiple labs and global collaboration. I think that PYC could meet that requirement.
But it’s also stated that there has to be a strong UK component to the programme, with at least 25% of the award being spent in the UK. Perhaps even trickier, it seems that any proposed research programme can’t be receiving grants from another funding body.
