if we vote no for the directors options, what happens then?
do they come back with another options proposal or do they go without options issued for the year?
not sure if im missing somthing here, but im more than happy to see a director pay $1.75 as opposed to 75c a share. naturally $2.50 a share would be even better, but lets be honest, in this market, no directors are gonna price themselves out of the market.
there are companies far more advanced than UMC in their IO operations and they are trading withn 40c of us.
$1.75 strike price in effect means management is targeting over $2 to get themselves into the money. i'll take that as a start.
